Tech Center
The Tech Center increases the range and accuracy of your scans when searching for deposits. This Special building is instrumental to creating high quality Mines, and is a sound investment for any player.

The price to scan for deposits scales with the level of your Tech Center!
Scan Range, Accuracy, and Cost[]
The cost of each scan depends on the level of the Tech Center and the total number of mines you have.
Formula for scan cost: (10,000 * 2.4^[Tech Center Level]) * (1 + [Total number of Mines]/1,000); Rounded to the nearest multiple of 5,000.
Formula for scanner output: Accuracy Limit + (Deposit Value - Accuracy Limit) / 5
The "Accuracy Limit" is that point at which the scanner can no longer provide an accurate estimate of a deposit's quality. At this point, the scanner will estimate up to "Maximum Predicted Quality".

Upgrades[]
The Tech Center can be upgraded up to ten times like every other Special building. Every upgrade costs credits, scrap metal, electronic scrap, and maintenance kits.
